Poor defending was the achilles heel again for Northwood FC following a 4-1 thrashing away to Bedfont Sports.
Bedfont got off to a good start from the get-go and that set the tone for the rest of the match.
After a good flowing move, Bedfont’s Ezekiel Bademosi headed home a right wing cross in the 11th minute and the striker scored the second in the 35th minute from close range to make it 2-0 going into the second half.
The home side made it three when they broke through the abysmal defence and Mekhail McLaughlin was there to put it in the back of the net. Wing-back Lucas Sinclair then made it four in the 52nd minute.
Suddenly, four minutes later Northwood’s Tyrone Pink grabs a consolation goal and his first for the club.
Next Saturday (December 14) Northwood will be at home to 12th position Marlow Town.
