Chalfont St Peter suffered a devastating 4-0 defeat at the hands of promotion pushers Westfield FC this evening (December 7).
The Buckinghamshire side travelled to Woking for a largely one-sided match when the home side grabbed the lead after 17 minutes thanks to Matt Steer.
On the 23rd minute mark, The Saints had a potential shout for a penalty but the referee waved play on. Three minutes later at the other end of the pitch, Westfield were awarded a penalty kick, to which Elijah Simpson converted.
In the second half, Westfield continued their dominant form as Gregory Haydon grabbed the third in the 62nd minute and Charlie Postance scored the fourth and final goal in the 90th minute.
The Saints next have a home tie at Mill Meadow against Waltham Abbey on December 14.
