Drivers travelling between Holmer Green and Amersham early on Friday, November 24, were aggravated to find themselves in an unexpected traffic jam.
Cars were held up by one particular commuter at the front of a long line of traffic. The movements of the commuter in question were reportedly erratic and their adherence to the rules of the road at best shaky.
Before too much blame can be levied upon this traveller, it is worth stating that they were no normal commuter but in fact a sheep.
This picture was taken by a driver on the other side of the road whilst stuck in the gridlock. Another Amersham resident reported that the sheep was later safely returned to its nearby flock, although AmershamNews has not been able to verify this information.
The sheep has been contacted for comment.
