A popular arts society will be exploring jewellery of the 1940’s and 1950’s in its latest half-day event.
The Arts Society Moor Park will be holding its Cocktails and the Fashion Conscious: Jewellery of the 1940’s and 1950’s event on January 29 at Moor Park Mansion, with Susan Rumfitt as the speaker.
Susan is an independent jewellery specialist.
She is an accredited lecturer for the Arts Society, a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and one of the team of specialists on the BBC’s Antique Roadshow.
The Arts Society Moor Park is a registered charity, founded in 1968, which promotes the appreciation and study of decorative and fine arts as well as giving practical aid to preserve and conserve artistic heritage.
The first lecture will be at 10.30am, with refreshments at 11.30am, a second lecture 12pm and a buffet lunch at 1pm – all included.
