Much like the rest of the world, students at CK Theatre School (CKTS), based in Chorleywood and Gerrards Cross, have had an unusual year.

Josh and Lucy Sills, managing director and principal at CKTS, recently ran a survey to check in on their students’ health and well-being following the pandemic.

Exploring the importance of the theatre school to students, as classes ran online during lockdown periods and recently returned face-to-face in line with government guidelines, the survey unveiled some heart-warming results.

· 100 per cent of students feel happier after attending their classes

· 94 per cent say they’re a more confident person since attending classes

· 92 per cent feel physically healthier and 93 per cent feel mentally healthier

· 92 per cent say they feel less stressed or sad after attending their classes

Lucy Sills, principal at CK Theatre School said: “’It is wonderful to hear how CKTS has made a positive impact on these young people’s lives during a turbulent time. Being able to offer continuity in a period of change has clearly contributed to the wellbeing of our students.”

Spaces at CK Theatre School are currently available for enrolment and CKTS is also currently offering all enquiring students a free trial class.
