Fine Art university student, Alex Cazzato, is set to have his own Elton John inspired exhibition held at the Verden Gallery next month.

The 20-year-old, who is still currently studying in his third year at Central Saint Martins, has spent the past year working on his paintings and collages, being heavily inspired by Elton John.

Reginald Dwight, or famously known as Elton John, lived in the village in his childhood home on Pinner Hill Road.

Speaking to PinnerNews, Alex said: “I saw Rocketman at the beginning of the year and it left me feeling incredibly inspired by everything, his album covers, outfits and his overall colourful personality.

“I had the idea to do the exhibition last November and have been working towards it since then. I’ve done stuff with my university and with school, but this will be my first official solo exhibition.

“Elton so creative and colourful which I am expressing in my paintings.”

Alex continued: “I’m so excited for this exhibition and I would love to do another one after this one. I’ve always been interested in buying art and commissioning, so this is the beginning for me.”

Alex’s exhibition dedicated to Elton John will be available for private viewing from November 29 to December 1 at 6.30pm to 9pm at the Verden Gallery, admission is free.
