The much-loved Ricky Road Run (RRR) returns on Sunday, October 26, marking its 41st anniversary as one of Hertfordshire’s longest-running charity events.
The popular 10-mile race will start and finish at Chorleywood Working Men’s Club, taking runners on a scenic route through Chorleywood, The Chalfonts and Rickmansworth.
Running royalty and Olympic gold medallist Sir Mo Farah CBE shared a Facebook post to encourage people to take part.
He said: “Good luck to everyone who is running the 41st Rickmansworth 10-mile run. It has beautiful scenery so please make sure you do enter… Go out there and enjoy it.”
The non-profit event will raise funds for four charities: WaterAid, KitAid, The OLLIE Foundation, and For Baby’s Sake Trust.
Organisers are calling on runners of all abilities to take part in this community-spirited event.
