As reported yesterday, roads in Watford have been affected with the recent downpour in rain, with Lower High Street and Dalton Way remaining closed today.

Hertfordshire Police have released a map outlining the closures and have asked people to avoid the area.

Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor posted photos of the affected areas on his Facebook page, and said: “Lower High Street and Dalton Way remain closed this morning due to flooding. Oxhey Activity Park and the Tasty Bean Cafe are still open.”

Flood warnings remain in place across the county with the police stating the Watford, Radlett, London Colney, Colney Heath and Borehamwood were the likely areas to be seriously affected.
