Berkhamsted start their season as they mean to go on with a win and a solid performance away at North Leigh FC.
Berko’s Lewis Toomey kickstarted the game after firing into an open net in the third minute of the game.
The goal came from a blistering run by Jonathan Lacey who after beating three players, crossed the ball to Toomey who scored.
The Comrades couldn’t double their first half lead with the Berko keeper pulling off some great saves to see his side go 0-1 up at half time.
Just two minutes into the second half sees the away side go two nil up after Lacey capitalised on a defensive error. 0-2 Berkhamsted.
The games final goal saw North Leigh get one back as George Seacole netted home on his birthday.
Berkhamsted saw the game off and will want to continue their form into their next game against Bedford Town at home on Tuesday, August 20 with a 7.45pm kick off.
