A family-run Indian restaurant in Bushey is thrilled to have won a prestigious national catering award at an industry awards night.
India Garden, a popular restaurant based on the High Street, was named East of England’s Best Restaurant of the Year 2021 at the Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) Curry Awards.
The annual star-studded event took place on Sunday, November 7 at the O2 arenas Intercontinental Hotel and was attended by restaurant owners from all over the country and celebrity guests and MPs.
The BCA is an organisation of 12,000 British Bangladeshi restaurants and takeaways across the UK, established in 1960 to represent the catering industry run by ethnic Bangladeshis.
Shohidul Choudhurry, owner of India Garden said: “We are honoured to have won the East of England (Region 1) “Best Restaurant of the Year 2021” tonight at the BCA Curry Awards.
