Detectives investigating an incident at a bookmakers in St Albans are releasing CCTV images of a man they wish to speak with as part of their enquiries. The incident occurred at around 6.30pm on Friday, October 2 at Ladbrokes in St Peters Street. It’s alleged a member of staff was threatened and a significant sum of money was stolen. Detective Constable Chris Dale from the St Albans Local Crime Unit is investigating and said: “Thankfully no-one was injured during this incident. We believe the man pictured may have information that could assist us with our investigation. “I would ask anyone who believes they know this man, or has any information about the incident, to contact me straight away.” Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact DC Dale via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference F1/15/3517. No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will never need to go to court.
