Travelling artist Becky Bell has recently shared several incredible paintings of Croxley, created from views from her houseboat.
Speaking to Croxley News, she said: “I paint from my boat studio, travelling between Watford and Brentford, and always stop for the permitted two weeks in Croxley, one of my favourite moorings.
“For ten years, I ran life drawing classes in hired venues. I’ve always drawn and painted from life, often sitting in the back of cafes or parks with a paintbox or easel.
“Lockdown brought challenges, what to paint now? So I began painting the views from my deck. These have been very popular, so now I’m offering small prints as well as original canvases.”
Becky takes commissions for house portraits or favourite views, and she’s sent her paintings all over the world. She now spends her days roaming the canals of the UK on her houseboat/studio with her cat Daisy, painting the views of the world around her boat.
Becky offers 1-2-1 painting sessions and small group sessions on board. To find out more, head to https://beckybellartist.sumupstore.com
