The much-anticipated Rickmansworth and District Art Society Exhibition has returned to the town and will run until Friday, March 22, 2024.

Residents are invited to view a variety of art on display showcasing the beauty of the district. The exhibition is taking place at Artistsmeet on Rickmansworth High Street.

Councillor Chris Lloyd, lead member for leisure, said: “It’s fantastic that local artists can proudly show their incredible works at venues like Artistsmeet. Three Rivers is a beautiful and interesting place to live, where I grew up. I am really looking forward to seeing the variety from each artist’s depiction of the daily life of the district in their art style.”

Jackie O’Keeffe, local artist and committee member of Rickmansworth and District Art Society, said: “It is a fantastic chance for some members who have never exhibited before, alongside experienced artists to show case their work.”

Residents are welcome to attend monthly sessions at Mill End Community Centre with professional artists. Members can attend for free, and guests will be charged £5. The next session will be with painter Rodney Kingston on Thursday, February 1, at 7.30pm.
