Detectives are appealing for information and CCTV footage after a taxi was set alight in a suspected targeted attack in Watford.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the fire in Kensington Avenue at around 1.54am today (Friday, February 14).
Detective Sergeant Andy Metselaar, from the Watford Local Crime Unit, said: “I am appealing for witnesses, any information or CCTV footage of an incident which occurred during the early hours of today.
“Following initial enquiries, the circumstances of the fire are unclear although we do believe it is a targeted attack and are treating it as arson.
“We are asking the public for their assistance as we work to identify a suspect.
