Police were called at around 2.33pm yesterday (Wednesday, May 22), following reports of a two-vehicle collision on Exchange Road, Watford.
Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the fire and ambulance service.
Road closures were put in place on the Ring Road, and cars were diverted down Lower High Street.
One man was taken to hospital for treatment for a minor injury.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called just after 2.30pm by fire service colleagues to alert us to a road traffic collision on Exchange Road in Watford involving two vehicles.
“An ambulance attended the scene, and one patient was transported to Watford General Hospital for further care.”
