Estate agency tastes regional awards success

Local estate agents Gibbs Gillespie has seen off hundreds of other regional rivals to win the runners-up spot at a prestigious industry awards event held on May 10 in central London (when and Where). 

The company which was founded by James Gibbs and Paul Gillespie in Ruislip in 1991 came second in the Best Estate Agent in the South East category thanks to positive feedback from clients. 

Paul Gillespie said: “To come in the top two of the hundreds of agencies who were reviewed and assessed is a great achievement. We never forget that the customer’s happiness is the most important aspect of estate agency work and it’s maintaining our good reputation which drives on to always strive to be better.”

The ESTAS are sponsored by property portal giant Zoopla and honour the best sales and lettings estate agents in the UK based on research carried out among customers.

They are asked a series of questions about the service they have received during the home moving process.  

This year saw record entries making the competition the toughest yet and featured one of the biggest surveys in the UK property industry with 45,000 customers completing an online ESTAS feedback forms.

TV property pundit Phil Spencer has hosted the ESTAS every year since their inception in 2003. 

He said: “The ESTAS encapsulates what the best estate agents are trying to do, which is to provide honest, transparent service for their clients. These awards are special because shortlisted and winning firms are selected purely on the service they deliver. Real feedback from real customers experiencing real service, I don’t think there can be a greater honour in the industry than to receive an award based on that mantra.”
