A Watford fan from Australia isn’t letting a 17 hour plane journey get in his way as he is flying back to watch the Hornets play at Wembley Stadium this weekend (May 18).
Robin Evans, originally lived in Kings Langley, moved to Perth six years ago and hasn’t looked back since until his boy hood club reached the FA Cup final.
Speaking to MyNews, Robin said he is buzzing for the big day.
He said: “I am really excited, buzzing for it. It is going to be great seeing a lot of old friends and familiar faces but more importantly to watch the boys play.
“I have got a good feeling about the game, it will be hard but with a bit of luck I think it will be our day. The players have shown this season what they can do so we need to do the same this Saturday.”
Robin, who grew up supporting Watford, was too young to be at the game in ’84 but remembers watching them with his family throughout the 90s.
Robin predicts goals from Deeney and Pereyra will secure a historic 2-1 victory over the Premier League champions.
