A French Bulldog named Gordon, who was allegedly stolen from St Albans, has been found safe and well. One-year-old Gordon was taken to a vet in Uxbridge on Wednesday, August 26, and has since been reunited with his owner. The black and white dog managed to leave his home in Worley Road between 1pm and 3pm on Thursday, August 13. It was reported that Gordon had been found between 3pm and 4pm the same day and taken to an address in Potters Bar. Following police enquiries, Gordon couldn’t be accounted for. Two people who had been arrested on suspicion of theft and fraud by false representation, a 55-year-old woman and 53-year-old man from Potters Bar, have been released without charge and will face no further action. Following further information coming to light, a 23-year-old woman from Hayes in London was arrested last night (Wednesday, September 2) on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and fraud by abuse of position. The woman has been released on police bail until October 29.
