Students from Nower Hill School in Pinner excelled in a drama festival last month, described as a “buffet of talent” by judges.
On Sunday, March 20, twenty GCSE and A-Level Drama students from the school took to the stage at the Watersmeet Rickmansworth to take part in the Watford Drama Festival.
Ms Gardner, head of drama at Nower Hill, said: “All students carried themselves with integrity, good grace and professionalism. Once again we were the only state school competing. Every single other entrant was from a private school or fee-paying drama school outside of school time.
“Nower Hill’s standard of work remained very high which led to some nail-biting decisions by the adjudicator! Our favourite quote from the adjudicator about our students was ‘What a buffet of talent!’.
“Congratulations to all students who were involved – you did yourselves and the school proud. You were an absolute asset and a privilege to work with.”
