A new artist-in-residence at Croxley Green Library has been enchanting visitors with her weaving and mixed media work.
Since Tuesday, June 13, Victoria Culf has been based at the library, mixing her artistic skills with her love of books to run workshops with the local community.
Speaking about her inspiration, Victoria said: “I knew I wanted to be an artist ever since I could hold a pencil. I’d spend ages observing the world around me and trying to capture and process what I’d seen.”
Victoria will still be running sessions at the library until the final one on July 29. The first will see her run a bespoke, invite-only session for local A-Level art students on Monday, July 17.
Following this, there will be a special creative session for parents with babies and young children from 11am on Tuesday, July 18, and an all-ages activity from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, July 29, where a woven circle will be made.
