Watford Chief Inspector and Police Community Support Officers (PCSO) teamed up with a local charity to deliver fresh meals to those impacted by the cost-of-living crisis.

Chief Inspector Andy Wiseman, PC Samantha Jenner and two local PCSOs joined the One Vision team on June 12 to cook and deliver 110 fresh meals and 60 grocery bags to the Watford community.

One Vision Food Hub cooks and delivers food and grocery bags to more than 180 families impacted by the cost-of-living crisis.

Andy Wisemen, Chief Inspector of Watford, said: “PCSOs Busbridge and Soreanu and PC Jenner from the Watford Safer Neighbourhood Team, and I, were delighted to take an hour out of the working day today to help One Vision prepare these meals for people in our communities.”

Enoch Kanagaraj, founder and CEO of One Vision, said: “I thank the Watford police to give their time and see first-hand the difficulties [faced by] our local people. It was greatly appreciated by our service users and our volunteers.”
