A 10 year old from Bushey has starred in a global TV show based on the popular fantasy sci-fi game, Halo.
Casper Knopf plays the supporting role of Young John, who grows up to be the Master Chief, in six episodes of the popular new show.
The filming, which took place over a couple of years due to the pandemic, saw Casper travel to Budapest to film alongside other members the cast, including Orange is the New Black actor Pablo Schreiber.
Speaking to BusheyNews, Casper said filming the show was incredible and he hopes to continue acting in the future.
He said: “The first audition was on my seventh birthday. I was very happy when I found out I got the part.
“I want to be an actor and a stunt double. If I could be anyone, I would probably like to be Spiderman or James Bond.”
Casper’s mum, Emma, said it’s hard to put into words how amazing the experience was.
She said: “The £200million set was incredible; all of Casper’s costumes were handmade and he got to meet all the cast.
“The whole experience was incredible; we all said we can’t quite believe it.”
Emma also thanked Hartsbourne Primary School, where Casper is a pupil, for being so supportive; his agents at the Sylvia Young Agency for helping them to navigate the process; and Marc Pickering.
The show is available to watch on Paramount Plus.
