This winter, Kings Langley Football Club (KLFC) will once again be supporting the local foodbank and are inviting youth teams to get involved.
The football club will have a donation point available at every youth match for non-perishable food items such as tins, dried pasta, rice and cereals from October 1 to November 27, which will be donated to the Community Foodbank.
A spokesperson for KLFC said: “As the cost-of-living crisis begins to impact the financial circumstances of our local community, the support of foodbanks and similar organisations will continue to provide vital lifelines for so many.”
The football club’s support for the foodbank this year will also include the installation of permanent donation points in 1886 Bar & Lounge, a youth team donation drive, and 1st team home game donation drive.
