More than 50 men from Northwood and the local area have signed up to a charity choir concert to raise funds for Prostate UK.
They have come together to form a brand new choir, Harrow Men United in Song. They will join forces with Harrow Apollo Male Choir for a special fundraiser.
The ticket only event will take place on Saturday, June 6 at 5.30pm at St Helens School in Northwood.
The Harrow Men in Song choir kicked off the project in mid-April, and will take part in eight weeks of rehearsal before the charity concert all in aid of Prostate UK.
One member described the choir as: “A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn something challenging, empowering and fun in a supportive and pressure-free environment.”
Another added: “Joining other blokes for beer, song, and raising money for charity – that surely is the Rhythm of Life!”
Rehearsals take place weekly on a Wednesday from 7.30pm at Cannon Lane Methodist Church in Pinner. For more information on the group email meninsong@gmail.com or visit harrowmeninsong.org
