Arrests have been made after an on-road collision hospitalised four people in the early hours of the morning on Eastbury Road, Watford.
The collision involved two vehicles and emergency services attended the scene, including the ambulance and fire service.
One of the vehicles involved in the collision had failed to stop for police shortly before. No pursuit was required.
A police spokesperson said: “Four people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, two of whom have been arrested in connection with the incident.”
Several roads in Watford remain closed following a collision shortly after 1am this morning, Friday, May 15.
Closures remain in place along Wiggenhall Road, Eastbury Road and Oxhey Road.
It has been confirmed that police cars did not collide with any of the involved vehicles.
The incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct for further investigation.
