Entry to the 42nd edition of the Berkhamsted Half Marathon is now open.
The event, which is organised by Berkhamsted Rotary Club and raises money for various local charities, will include a five-mile and 13.1-mile run through the Chilterns countryside. Starting and ending at Berkhamsted Cricket Club, the event will take place on Sunday, March 2.
No runners under the age of 17 can run the half marathon, and children under 12 must run the five-mile fun run with a responsible adult.
Schools with four or more runners and running clubs with 10 or more runners can also enter together. Contact info@berkorun.com for details.
Half marathon spaces bought before February 28 cost £37 for an unaffiliated person and £35 for an affiliated person. Between March 1 and 2, entry will cost £45 (unaffiliated) or £43 (affiliated).
Entry to the five-mile run costs £13 until February 28, and £17 until 9.45am on March 2 when registration shuts.
Entrants who register by Monday, February 17, will receive their race pack by post before the event.
