The Abbots Autumn Fest is returning to the village on Saturday, September 6.
Taking place on School Mead from 11am to 4pm, this free annual festival celebrates the village’s orchard heritage at the autumn equinox.
The event will feature live performances, crafts, music, tombola, raffle, games, and the chance to buy fruit and vegetables and sample local beers. There will also be community and charity stalls.
In the lead-up to the day itself, young residents are encouraged to make scarecrows which are displayed around the village and in shop windows.
