It has been announced that British boyband royalty McFly will be headlining the St Albans Pub in the Park festival.
The event is taking place in Verulamium Park from 9 – 11 September.
McFly are joining an already star-studded line-up, with more acts still to be announced.
On Friday, there will also be a performance from Sophie Ellis-Bextor and a DJ set from Gok Wan. The following day there will be sets from Melanie C, Dodgy, and the Kaiser Chiefs. On “Lazy Sunday”, the festival concludes with shows from Beverly Knight, Huey Morgan and British reggae group, Aswad.
The Pub in the Park festival is not only about music. Verulamium Park will also be transformed into a food-lovers paradise, serving a selection of delectable dishes created by some of the most talented chefs in the UK.
Festival goers can enjoy the toe tapping tunes whilst experiencing lush food created by Tom Kerridge, Atul Kochhar, Tommy Banks, Paul Ainsworth and more at the incredible pubs and restaurants on offer.
Tom Kerridge said: “I know the chefs have been working hard and I can’t wait for you all to come and experience the fantastic music, good times and amazing flavours on offer!”
Michelin-starred chef Tommy Banks, whose Yorkshire based Made in Oldstead will be appearing for the first time, said: “I’m excited Made in Oldstead is making its debut appearance in St Albans this summer. We’re really proud of these dishes, we hope you love them as much as we do!”
