An artist has been lavished with praise for his paintings of locations across Pinner.
Andy Hannon’s artwork was shared on social media, where residents from Pinner were quick to offer positive feedback.
Many people were so impressed that they kept asking Andy if he would sell some of his creations, so he created a website where they can be purchased.
Andy has loved art since he was very young but took it more seriously after having to take early retirement.
He told Pinnernews: “I was overwhelmed and humbled by the wonderful response I received on social media. I really enjoy what I do, but it makes it all the more special when people are so encouraging, so I do love to thank them all for that.
“I mainly like to do watercolour landscapes but also enjoy working with acrylics and occasionally oils. I’ve also done a lot of house portraits as mementos or simply for themselves or to give as gifts, which is great fun, especially if it involves interesting architecture.
“I’ve done a few views of Pinner, mainly because of its obvious charm, I’ve done a few of the High Street, the church, The Queen’s Head, the old police station and the Oddfellows Arms.
“I’ve also done a series of Christmas cards depicting various local pubs which I’m pleased to say seem to be quite popular.”
