Athletics star Kyle Langford has accused his rivals of blocking him in the 800m semi-final at the World Athletics Championship in Doha tonight.
Langford finished the third semi-final in fifth place but after the race said he could have finished in the top two if he had not been obstructed so would have progressed to the final.
Speaking to the BBC, Langford said he was closing quicker than anyone in the home straight.
He commented: “People are cutting in on on one another. I felt like I still had my legs. They have ruined the racing. You want to keep it clean but I should have raced better and kept out of that danger. It was a slow race and maybe I should have taken it on myself. Emotions are high now and I don’t know what to think.”
