Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision in Maple Cross yesterday evening (Thursday, May 22).
The incident occurred on Denham Way, near the M25 roundabout at junction 17, at around 9.20pm.
A green Iveco HGV tractor unit and a black Honda moped were involved.
The rider of the moped, a 19-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains at this time.
Sergeant Tim Davies, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit said: “Our enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around the collision.
“As part of this we are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or who saw the vehicles in the area prior to the incident to please come forward.
“We’d be particularly keen to hear from anyone who captured dash cam footage.”
