Armed police swooped in on an address in Garston this morning.
At around 11am today, May 1, several patrol cars were parked in Hemming Way at an address in the street.
Numerous armed officers were seen at the front door with weapons drawn.
A police helicopter was also flying overhead.
Residents could hear officers shouting ‘armed police’.
It is believed the raid was in connection with the manhunt for Joseph McCann who is suspected of abducting and raping two women, and a further rape of a woman in Watford.
Met Police said raid was in assistance with Herts Police connected with ongoing enquiries but refused to comment any further.
