Watford High Street saw its newest bar and restaurant open last month, The Florist.

The blossoming and vibrant coloured venue takes inspiration from Pantone’s Colour of the Year; Living Coral.

The pretty pinks have been cited as a colour of carefree happiness is featured throughout all aspects of The Florist from interiors to decorations and the drinks themselves.

On Easter Monday the store opened at the into shopping centre offering a charming, sensory experience where guests enjoyed modern dining, floral cocktails, relaxed beats and weekend DJs.

Founder of MyLocalNews Nik Allen said: “The Florist has thought outside the box and created something truly unique and breath-taking. The bar is another great addition to Watford that already has a vibrant and varied high street.”

The Florist’s dedication to implementing Living Coral in the bar extends to working with graffiti artist Jody Artist to create impressive art for the venue that highlights Living Coral within the colour palette.

The pink tinted hue will also be a key feature on the floral-inspired cocktail menu, with cocktails such as the Rhubarb in Bloom and Raspberry Rose Sour boasting the highly-Instagrammable shade.

Living Coral will even feature within the design of the cocktail menu itself as part of The Florist’s branding refresh for the Watford venue.

Lauren Allen-Maher, Group Brand Manager at The Florist said: “The Florist has always been a destination for delicious cocktails in beautiful surroundings, and the Watford site is set to take our infamous aesthetics to a whole new level.

“Living Coral embodies a lot of our core values – it is contemporary, synonymous with vibrancy and known for being life affirming. We can’t wait to welcome our first guests through the door to dine, drink and be delighted by the Instagrammable atmosphere.”
