If you’re sick of panto, a local theatre company has the perfect alternative at Watford’s Pump House Theatre later this month. The Blag Theatre Company will be performing A Blast From Christmas Past from December 16 to 21 and My News Magazines has two pairs of tickets to give away. The show is full of Christmas spirit and includes singing Christmas Trees, still in their netting, Santa’s Elves who are struggling with technology, a nativity play that goes wrong where the cast play children, turkeys that reflect on their fate and a chance to join in with a bunch of Christmas Games. This is a real laugh out loud evening of entertainment suitable for all the family. Ricky Beaumont is the director. He said: “It’s for people who still like going to the theatre but don’t want to see Russell Grant playing Humpty Dumpty. This is a family show but not a pantomime. We’ve been running for 18 years and lots of people come back year after year. It’s a little tradition. People say it’s not the start of Christmas until they have seen our show.” My News Magazines has a pairs of ticket for A Blast from Christmas Past to give away. For your chance to win answer the following question: What are the names of the three ghosts that appear to Scrooge in A Christmas Carol? Send your answers to tim@mynewsmag.co.uk with A Blast From Christmas Past as the subject by December 13 and what date you would like to attend. Winners will be notified the following day.
