Two further men have been charged in relation to the murder of Luke O’Connell.
Shahnavaz Azad, 27, and Mohammed Haroon Azad 21, both of Nicholas Close, Watford were charged with murder last night (Thursday, September 5) and set to appear at Hatfield Remand Court today (Friday, September 6).
Two other men, Aamir Mustafa, 22, of St George’s Road, Watford, and 19-year-old Hamza Shah, of Hagden Lane, Watford, have already been charged with murder and are due to appear at a pre-trial hearing on December 3 at St Albans Crown Court.
A provisional trial court date has been set for February 17, 2020 for four weeks at St Albans Crown Court.
Luke died in hospital following an incident on Gammons Lane in Watford which occurred just before 3am on Saturday (August 31).
