Radio Christmas is back for its 16th year and will once again be raising money for Amersham-based charity Street Kids Direct.
Run entirely by volunteers from the local area, Radio Christmas is a community project that offers the chance for residents to get involved with broadcasting and producing. The station runs throughout December, leading up to Christmas Day.
The station has thrived with the backing of local schools, churches and businesses and even earned celebrity shout-outs from the likes of Fiona Bruce, Sir Rod Stewart CBE, and Sir Roger Moore KBE.
This year, the station will have a temporary home in Central America, where Street Kids Direct CEO Duncan Dyason MBE lives. Funds raised will propel outreach efforts to support children in the region.
Street Kids Direct is a charity founded in Amersham with a mission of rescuing children who are living on the streets or at risk of street life.
