Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a serious road traffic collision in Croxley Green.
The incident occurred at around 4.40pm yesterday (Thursday 18 December), on The Green.
A Suzuki R-Wagon was heading south towards Watford Road outside All Saints Church, when for reasons unknown at this time, the driver collided with a pedestrian.
A woman aged in her 70s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where she is in a life-threatening condition.
Sergeant Nick Kane from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this collision to contact police to help the investigation into what happened.
“I’m particularly keen to speak to anyone with a dash cam and who was driving in the area at the time in case they recorded any important footage. If you captured anything, please upload this via herts.police.uk/dashcamupload.
