A controversial Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) in the Moneyhill area of Rickmansworth is set to be reviewed.
Three Rivers District Council (TRDC) introduced the CPZ in December 2024 in response to local parking problems.
However, shopkeepers shared concerns about the costs, including a £536 annual permit.
Councillor Sarah Nelmes, Deputy Leader of TRDC and portfolio holder for general public services, said: “After listening to concerns, the council acted to free up parking spaces to improve the shopping and visitor experience at Moneyhill as well as improve the safety for people travelling locally. It’s been a year since we introduced the scheme, and we are keen to hear your views on what is working well and what we can improve on. Please send your responses by Monday, December 22, so our officers can consider your thoughts before any future decisions are made.”
