Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a serious collision in Hemel Hempstead.
Officers were called to St Albans Road (A414), near the roundabout junction with Jarman Way at around 5.50pm yesterday (Friday 31 July) following a collision between a blue BMW F850 motorcycle and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 13-year-old girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries where she remains at this time.
The driver of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with injuries.
Police Constable Joe Massey, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I am calling to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or may have dashcam footage to please come forward to share information.
“The circumstances of the collision continue to be investigated and our enquiries are ongoing.
“If you saw what happened and are yet to speak to police, please report it. I can be emailed via joe.massey@herts.police.uk with any details you may have.
