Bereavement Care, an organisation that supports bereaved people in Pinner and beyond is running a raffle to raise money for the charity, with a first prize of a holiday to Mauritius with flights included.
Bobbi Riesel, Vice-Chair of Bereavement Care said: “We are running the raffle to raise much needed funds to keep our charity going. We support people who have been bereaved both recently and for a long time and we have groups who work as voluntary bereavement visitors, these are trained visitors with counselling skills. The most important thing for us is we do not charge for our services.”
Raffle entrants will be entered in the draw to win a luxury holiday in Mauritius, spending a week at Veranda Tamarin Hotel and Spa including flights. The second Prize is a £150 John Lewis Voucher and Third Prize is a Red Letter Day Gift Voucher.

The charity, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, is also hosting an annual conference online on Wednesday, October 20 with a focus on the journey after COVID.
Bereavement Care currently has over 130 volunteers but is always on the lookout for more people to get involved to help bereavement people in the community.
