Stagecoach performing arts academy is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a charity gala.
The school, which serves Chorleywood and Rickmansworth, is putting on a performance titled The Greatest Musical on Earth as a celebration of the milestone, but also to raise money for the Peace Hospice, who provide end of life care in Hertfordshire.
The performance will present a selection of moments from various different musical theatre productions, showcasing the best of the school’s talent.
The event also marks a personal landmark for the school’s principal Kitty Gould, who has now been running the school for ten years.
She said: “It is a special year for me, being my tenth year running Stagecoach.
I still cannot believe it has been ten years and we would love to have as many people as possible join us and celebrate with cake afterwards as well at this special event.
“We have over 160 local children ages 6-18 years involved from all the local schools and they have put so much into making this a super show.”
The gala will take place at the Watersmeet Theatre in Rickmansworth on Saturday, June 3, tickets cost £16 for adults and £10 for children.
