PLEASE HELP: Witness appeal after collision in Bushey Heath leaves pedestrian in ‘serious condition’

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision in Bushey Heath.

At just before 1pm on Tuesday, September 28, a pedestrian, a man in his 70s, and a turquoise Toyota Starlite were in collision on the High Road, outside Highfield.

Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the ambulance service – including the air ambulance.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene to assist officers with the investigation.

No arrests were made.

Sergeant Ian Manley, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “We would like to hear from you if you witnessed this collision or have dash cam footage of it.
