A nursery manager has been selected for the final for the Best Nursery Personality category in the NMT Nursery Awards 2021.
Rob Danks, from Garston, is a nursery manager at Honey’s Nest and he has been nominated for the Best Nursery Personality Award.
Rob said: “This is amazing news for me but of course the Pre-School I run, we have been supporting the local community and to be nominated by parents for this award means a lot.
“This award is special as it shows we have been doing good things through this horrible time and it’s a national award so to be one of the best in the country is mind blowing, I can’t wait to see if I win but either way I have already won and trying to show our male practitioner anything is possible as we have a low percentage in the Early Years Sector.”
Speaking about how the pandemic affected the nursery, Rob added: “We have gone from strength to strength and been fully booked from nine months as we specialise in the funded places and work with the local community taking many different cultures and backgrounds and support children’s centre to work with vulnerable families, we have become a hub in the area.”
Winners of the NMT Nursery Awards 2021 will be presented with their trophies at our Awards Gala Night held on Saturday 20th November 2021.
