SMASHED IN: Brick hurled through Apsley beauty salon door

Published on: 24th January 2024   |   By: Darius Morgan   |   Category: Uncategorized

An Apsley beauty salon is reeling after an unprovoked attack last night (Tuesday, January 23).

When owner of Rosa Aesthetics Charlie awoke, she was greeted by a message from the police reporting that the salon had been vandalised.

The front door window had been smashed after a large brick had been hurled through, leaving the floor carpeted in glass.

Charlie, who has run the salon since July last year, has been left stunned and confused over the nature of the attack.

She told Kings News: “Nothing like this has ever happened before! We don’t know who has done it or why. We’re going through the CCTV footage, and we’re getting the footage from the pharmacy opposite.

“Nobody appears to approach the door, so we think that someone must have launched it from a car. The brick is very heavy so we think it must have been a man.

“We are appealing for information, if anyone knows any more please get in touch and we’ll offer a reward.”

You can get in touch with Rosa Aesthetics by calling 07739 025876.

A Herts Police spokesperson said: “Between 7pm and 1.20am, it is reported that a brick was thrown at a window of Rose Aesthetics on London Road, causing damage. No entry was gained to the property.

“Enquiries are continuing, and anyone with information is asked to please call 101 or report online, quoting ISR crime reference number 41/6385/24.”
