A local history museum is looking for more volunteers to ensure it can continue to tell the history of the Three Rivers area.
The Three Rivers Museum, based in Basing House, needs people willing to help with its work of collection cataloguing, researching and stewardship of the museum exhibits.
They are also looking for help with an ambitious project this winter, which will aim to tell the story of Croxley and the wider Three Rivers area through the medium of fabric bunting.
Fabian Hiscock, chairman of the museum, said: “Volunteers are vital to our museum and can take on various roles including stewarding, cataloguing the collection, display and research. You can give as much or as little time as suits you.
“No previous experience or special knowledge is necessary, but a love of local history is an advantage.
“Introductory training and guidance are available and there will be an experienced person on hand to answer your questions.”
