The Hatch End Triathlon is returning for 2025 and will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year.
The triathlon on Sunday, May 11, will include a 400m pool swim, a 17km road cycle and an off-road 3km run. This year, there is a new relay option, so participants can team up with friends to complete the challenge together.
The event will raise funds for St Luke’s Hospice, a local charity providing specialist end-of-life care.
Speaking to Pinnernews, event organiser Emma Donovan said: “To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we’ll have a fantastic atmosphere, with plenty of encouragement from our volunteers and supporters. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or just want to enjoy the challenge, this is a great event to get involved in!”
Emma appealed for those who aren’t interesting in competing to consider volunteering and helping out at the event instead.
She added: “As a friendly, club-run event, we welcome all abilities – so if you have any questions (no question is too small!), please get in touch.”
The adult event is followed by the junior event, where the minimum age for entry is eight years old.
