A live music night for singer songwriters in Abbots Langley is inviting young people to join them.
The Live & Local nights kickstarted by Ed Coan and Alex Scott provide a platform for original music written by songwriters of all ages.
Taking place at the Henderson Hub once a month on a Friday night, the shows have been a huge success bringing together songwriters from across the community to perform.
Speaking to AbbotsNews, Ed said: “The live nights have been going really well but now the main thing I want to push is getting more young people to come along.
There are lots of big secondary schools in the area and I just want to put the word out that if there’s any young people writing their own music, we can give them a place where they can perform.
“There is anything around like this, there are open mic nights at pubs but there wasn’t anything where you could play your stuff for an attentive audience.”
