Radlett-based Belstone FC have enjoyed a sensational season, mounting a push for promotion out of the Combined Counties League Division One.
At the time of writing, the club sit fourth in the table of the division which is in the ninth tier of English football.
It has been a year of progress for the club, who have even had the chance to see an evolution within their own ground.
If there’s one thing all footballers love, it’s to play a night-time game “under the lights”. Luckily for the club’s first team, they have been able to do exactly that. A total of 150 supporters headed to the club’s home ground at The Medburn to see the team play their first-ever floodlit home game at the end of October, which they won 5-1.
The team have only lost one match in 2025, to Chalfont St Peter, but toppled league leaders Windsor & Eton 0-2 away from home on Saturday, January 18. They beat AFC Welwyn in the Herts Centenary Cup quarter final on Tuesday, February 4, after a draw with FC Deportivo Galicia.
