The annual Dacorum Climate Action Network (Dacorum CAN) event is returning to Hemel Hempstead this year, bringing together residents and organisations to “think global and act local”.
Taking place at The Forum at 6.30pm on Monday, March 10, the free event will feature a range of speakers and stallholders from local community organisations and Dacorum Borough Council (DBC).
During the event, you can discover more about initiatives taking place in Hemel and across Dacorum to tackle the climate and ecological emergency and how you can get involved.
DBC’s website states: “We understand we can have the biggest impact by working with you and supporting you to reduce your carbon emissions. For this reason, we launched Dacorum CAN in 2021.
“The aim of the network is to bring about meaningful change and provide a platform that will educate, encourage and enable people to make positive, sustainable changes in their lives. These collective actions will help to tackle the climate and ecological emergency by reducing carbon emissions and increasing biodiversity.”
