A man who was the subject of an investigation by a paedophile vigilante group has been arrested by police.
At around 8.25pm on Thursday, February 29, a 39-year-old man from Hertfordshire was arrested in connection with sexual offences. The man was held in police custody but has now been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Footage from a video broadcast live on social media showed a confrontation between the vigilantes and the man outside his home in Bushey. At the end of the video, police arrived and the group left the scene.
The group has accused the man of sexual communication with a 14-year-old child, grooming the child online, sending the child indecent images, and requesting inappropriate images from the child.
